This comprehensive training system should be designed to analyze the DSB/SSB techniques used for Amplitude Modulation. The trainer consists of signal generator and Modulator section. It shall provide the full understanding of conventional Amplitude Modulation circuits.
The training system should also be designed to give the student a deep understanding of recovery techniques of Amplitude Modulation signal.
Receiver is designed similar to that of a commercial Radio Receiver. It demonstrates Super heterodyne Receiver with Automatic gain control (AGC) technique to demodulate the received AM DSB signal. AM SSB signal is received using product detector.
The trainer should also be designed to analyze the techniques of Frequency Modulation & Demodulation using analog signals.
